Hi,

I was updating my website today and decided to put a link from my SBSC logo to the MS site explaining what this was (http://www.microsoft.com/uk/smallbusiness/how-to-buy/small-business-specialist.mspx ). When doing a 'find a small business specialist' search I now don't appear at all. I get to a pinpoint site now. I've just been through putting a solution in for this, were we told about this, as I used to appear on partner finder as it was ?

Also, can you let me know what the newsgroup details are for the partner forums please. I stupidly installed windows 7 on this machine not realising windows mail would get removed..... (yes I have a backup, just didn't want to go through that hassle.

Thanks Simon

Hi Simon,

Solution Finder has now been replaced by Pinpoint, and this is being used on the Small Business site. The Pinpoint site aims to improve the customer experience and drive Customer to Partner connections as a result, generating you more leads.  You will need to ensure that your solution profiles meet the new requirements to validate and be displayed on Pinpoint. Download the guidance document to enure your solution(s) will be displayed on Pinpoint.  Full details on Pinpoint can also be found on the portal.

The launch of Pinpoint was communicated to Partners through our newsletters, RSS and via the partner web site, but perhaps you missed these? Let me know if you need any more pointers.

Hope this helps,

Ed

Hi, Simon,

Please see the Partner Help guide on Pinpoint. It tells you how to add a solution if you don't have one already. if you do already have one, there is a customer support form on that page as well.

I hope that helps,
